The listing looks cheap, but I cannot order one. What am I actually buying?
Confirm the seller’s minimum, the unit being sold and whether variants can be combined. Ask for an order quote matching the exact quantity you want. A low price beside a listing does not establish the cost of a single usable piece.
Read the selling unit before multiplying the price
A piece, pair, set, pack and carton describe different quantities. Record the unit in the listing and ask what it includes if the translation is unclear. A photograph containing several objects does not establish how many you receive.
Separate the intended number of usable items from the number of order units. Also confirm whether the displayed price belongs to your selected option and quantity tier.

Treat a minimum as a seller condition to confirm
Superbuy’s official 1688 page says an order below the seller’s minimum can be treated as invalid. It also describes differing quantity-check and inspection services, so an accepted order should not be read as a promise that every piece will be counted and inspected.
A 2024 Reddit discussion asks whether two different colors can satisfy a minimum. That historical interface question does not establish today’s seller rule. Request confirmation of the desired combination before paying; do not halve a price or enter extra quantities simply because an old reply suggests doing so.

A small arithmetic example
Assume a fictional listing sells a pack of three pieces for CNY 24 and requires two packs. Meeting that minimum would mean six pieces and CNY 48 of item cost, before any other charges. It would not mean two pieces at CNY 24 each.
If you want only four pieces, neither the pack size nor the seller’s minimum has changed. Ask whether the seller offers a different pack or an agreed exception. This is invented arithmetic, not a current product, quotation or workaround for an order form.

Agree on the verification you need
- Save the seller-confirmed unit, minimum, option mix and quoted total.
- Ask whether sealed packs will be opened and counted, and whether that service costs extra.
- For a batch, ask what any sampling service covers rather than assuming a full inspection.
- Keep the agreed quantity and any missing-pieces report tied to the same order reference.
- If a suitable quantity is unavailable, compare another listing instead of buying unwanted extras.
